Sriracha bourbon BBQ sauce

A slightly spicy and sweet BBQ sauce that works great on chicken, pork, or even shrimp.

Ingredients:

  • 23 cup ketchup
  • 14 cup bourbon
  • 13 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 12 cup honey
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 12 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 12 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 teaspoon onion powder
  • 14 teaspoon MSG (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a small pot over medium heat and bring to a simmer.

Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. At this point, the sauce should be thickened and sticky. 

Remove the pan from the heat and store the barbecue sauce in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
