Katsu sauce

A zippy and tangy, barbecue-style sauce with lots of savory umami flavors. Perfect on a katsu sando or on pretty much any sandwich where barbecue sauce would be welcomed.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons ketchup (1/4 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 12 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mirin
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk to fully incorporate.

Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
