Hot honey butter

Add a bit of spice to butter and use it to top pancakes, waffles, or even a freshly seared steak. Works great on toast, too!
YIELD
1/4 cup of compound butter
PREP TIME
schedule 5 minutes
TOTAL TIME
schedule 5 minutes
Cook Mode (keep screen awake)

Ingredients:

  • 14 cup butter (half of 1 standard stick)
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey (2 big squirts)

Directions:

Combine the butter and hot honey in a small bowl and stir to combine well. Mix until all of the sticky, liquid honey has incorporated and formed a thick, buttery paste. 

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a month.
