Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400 F (204 C).

Lay strips of bacon out flat on a parchment-lined sheet pan. If you don't have parchment, you can use aluminum foil, but parchment will help the bacon cook better.

Cook bacon in the oven for 20 minutes.

Note: if you've never cooked bacon in your oven before, you might want to check the doneness of the bacon after 10 or 12 minutes to see if it's cooking faster than expected. Every oven is different. You want the bacon to be almost done before you move on to the hoisin glazing step.

While bacon is cooking, get the rest of your ingredients and add them to a medium bowl. Stir well to combine everything. This is your hoisin glaze.

After 20 minutes of cooking time, remove bacon from the oven, and using a basting brush or a spoon, paint each slice of bacon with some of the glaze.

Add pan with bacon back into the oven and bake for 5 to 10 more minutes or until bacon is browned and crispy.
