Au poivre sandwich sauce

A big punch of black pepper and a lingering hint of warming alcohol will liven up your next steak sandwich or burger for sure.
YIELD
1/2 cup of sauce

Ingredients:

  • 12 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cognac or brandy
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk to combine fully.

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
